Dilly Dally Books is a mobile bookstore that will be rolling through Upstate NY starting this year! To read is to slow down. To sit with an idea, let it unfold, follow it somewhere unexpected. We believe the best thing you can do with your time is waste it on a really good book.

But this is not just about books. It is about what happens when people gather around them. The conversations. The recommendations shared between strangers. The quiet recognition that someone else felt the same thing you felt on page 37. That's how community is built, and we hope to be a small part of it.

There are no quotas here. No reading challenges, no pace to keep, no pressure to finish by Friday. Dilly Dally is a judgment-free zone for people who want to read one book a year, or one chapter a month, or just the first page of 16 different novels before finding the one that sticks.

Slow living starts with reclaiming your attention. To resist the pressure to be productive. We're not here to make you a faster reader. We're here to make reading something you actually want to return to. 

So take your time. Dilly dally. That's the whole point.
